Asian Football Confederation:

The Asian Football Confederation also known as the AFC, is the umbrella organization under the auspices of FIFA, the football associations of the Asian continent.

The AFC was founded May 8, 1954 in Manila, on the sidelines of the second Asian Games. The twelve founding members were: Afghanistan, Burma, China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, South Korea, Pakistan, the Philippines, Singapore and Vietnam.

The main competition is organized by the AFC Asian Cup of Nations, but it also organizes the Champions League AFC and various competitions such as the Asian Championship AFC Futsal clubs.
